USMI 0 Posted July 16, 2017 Current residents of the Township interested in preserving our history have formed a Historical Society which meets the third Monday of each month at 7:00 PM at the Tompkins Township Hall. Anyone interested in the history of the area is invited to attend. http://www.tompkinstwp-mi.org/historical.htmlThe Historical Society is currently reprinting a third edition of the Township's history, "ALL AROUND THE TOWN". It was originally published in 1976 and again in 1988.
