Though this site blocks any form of pasting, ( I wanted to translate and cannot ). I believe they are focused upon both Hesse and the Rhineland Pfalz areas.  Seems they are situated around the Wiesbaden archives and therefore Hesse. 

Also appears to indicate a monthly meeting on the first Wednesday each winter month at 1700 hrs. They also seem very open to non-members attending their sessions.  I might have to try this.
